Job Description

The Logistics & Supply Chain Executive will manage end-to-end warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations to ensure efficient movement, storage, and delivery of hospitality FF&E products. This role combines responsibilities across warehouse operations, inventory management, domestic and international logistics, and import-export coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in handling hospitality furniture supply chains using ERP and inventory systems such as Zoho Inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee receiving, storage, organization, and dispatch of stone, cabinets, and furniture.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in Zoho Inventory.
  • Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and GRN creation.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods.
Order Fulfillment & Dispatch:
  • Coordinate picking, packing, and dispatch of orders to meet delivery timelines.
  • Align warehouse operations with logistics schedules and project requirements.
Logistics & Shipment Coordination:
  • Plan and manage inbound and outbound shipments (domestic and international).
  • Coordinate with suppliers, factories, freight forwarders, and carriers (air, sea, land).
  • Monitor shipments in transit and proactively resolve delays or issues.
Import-Export & Compliance:
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and timely customs clearance.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:
  • Inspect incoming goods for damages or discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to warehouse safety standards and SOPs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Vendor & Carrier Management:
  • Coordinate with logistics vendors and carriers.
  • Assist in freight negotiations and evaluate carrier performance.
Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, shipment status, delivery performance, and logistics costs.
  • Highlight risks, delays, shortages, or excess inventory to management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with procurement, sales, project, and warehouse teams.
  • Support project planning with logistics timelines and inventory availability.
  • Ensure alignment between inventory, logistics, and project execution.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, logistics efficiency, cost optimization, and system processes.
Assist in updating SOPs and implementing best practices.


Qualifications:

Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain coordination, or import-export management, preferably within hospitality FF&E or furniture industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain are an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in inventory and logistics management software (Zoho Inventory preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office for reporting, tracking, and analysis.
Industry Knowledge:
  • Hands-on experience with hospitality FF&E, furniture warehousing, or large-scale project logistics.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping, import-export documentation, and customs processes.
