Job Description


Estimation & Costing

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs from approved drawings (interior, MEP, furniture, civil works).
  • Develop project cost estimates for corporate interior fit-out projects (offices, IT parks, commercial spaces).
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope and cost impact.
  • Prepare rate analysis for materials, labor, and subcontract works.
Tendering & Vendor Coordination
  • Float RFQs to vendors and subcontractors and compare quotations.
  • Prepare comparative statements and recommend cost-effective options.
  • Coordinate with procurement and vendors for finalization of rates.
Budget Control & Project Support
  • Assist in project budgeting and cost planning.
  • Support project teams with variation orders, extra item estimation, and cost revisions.
  • Track cost deviations and report to the project management team.
  • Assist in billing certification and reconciliation with site teams.
Coordination & Documentation
  • Work closely with design, execution, and procurement teams to ensure cost alignment.
  • Maintain estimation records, BOQs, and cost databases for future reference.
  • Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality and timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of corporate interior fit-out works (civil, carpentry, modular furniture, flooring, ceilings, MEP coordination).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools/software.
  • Good understanding of market rates, materials, and vendor sourcing.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Construction Management.
  • 3–7 years of experience in corporate/commercial interior projects only.
  • Prior experience in interior contracting or corporate fit-out firms preferred.
Preferred Attributes
  • Exposure to fast-track corporate projects.
  • Knowledge of billing, reconciliation, and cost control processes.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
